The Haunted Mansion – January 2011 (WDW) – Ride-Through & Post-Show

Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion, located in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom park. This video showcases the ride-through portion of the mansion, as well as the post-show (exit crypt, pet cemetery, courtyard, etc.); all as seen during my January 2011 visit. This video was edited together from a good 3 hours of footage I took of the Mansion during the trip. Listen close to hear the new vocals of the graveyard ghosts during the cemetery scene. Notable changes the prove the removal of the old 1969 originals with modern recordings include the Duchess exclaiming “Scream! Oh sugar!”, the Executioner now saying “They Begin to terrorize” instead of “They Pretend to terrorize”, and the Hearse Quintet is now a lively choir, replacing the old monotone chorus. You should be able to hear them quite clearly in this video! Enjoy. Power Trip Coaster ride-through at Fun Spot USA in Kissimmee

Take a point-of-view ride on the Power Trip Coaster at Fun Spot USA in Kissimmee, Florida. The grand opening for the ride was held on July 2, 2011. The ribbon was cut with the help of Willy Bite, an alligator from Gatorland. The Power Trip roller coaster used to run at Cypress Gardens where it was known as the Galaxy Spin. A similar wild mouse spinning coaster called Primeval Whirl can be found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The most technological advanced dark ride ever created. The video is very dark because the ride itself is very dark. I don’t think I’d ever been as close to props as I was on this ride… things were up in your face. Forbidden Journey does not go upside down, but there are times where you are swung back & forth and on your back. If you are afraid if heights, spiders, dragons, and tight/dark spaces, dementors, don’t ride! If you have any questions about this new, amazing ride, feel free to ask.
