Determine the Best Time to Go
People working at Disney World get asked this question a lot: When is the best time to go to this park? The answer to this actually depends on the visitor’s personal preferences and schedule.
The busiest times of the year are during the holidays (Presidents’ Week, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day), spring break, and summer vacation. The park is heavily crowded during these times but the park compensates by extending business hours and providing exciting special events.
If you are the type who hates going into crowded places, you may want to skip the peak season and go when there is low record of attendance such as between New Year’s Day and President’s Week or after spring and summer vacations. Now, if you do not mind mingling with people and you actually prefer to be with crowds, you will probably enjoy going during peak seasons when there are special events to watch out for.
Set a Budget
Unless money is no object to you, you need to set a budget so you do not end up overspending. If you want to save money, it would be best to follow these practical tips:
Avail of a Disney World package discounts. Packages are not only convenient, they also allow you to save extra money.
Go during the off-peak season. Tickets cost less during this time.
Book your hotel outside but near the perimeters of Disney World. Lodging is more expensive if you check in at the hotels located inside the park.

Speaking of hotel, you need to book your accommodation in advance so you do not run out of room, especially if you are going during busy times. As mentioned earlier, you can check in at hotels outside the park to save money. Moreover, if your hotel is already included in your Vacation package to Disney World, then you do not have anything to worry about anymore. Otherwise, you can hire a travel agent to do the booking for you if you do not have the time or you do not have any idea on how to go about this process.
Plan Your Itinerary
Disney World is more than big. It is enormous! If you plan your itinerary right, even if you stay for a short while, you will get to see most of the best attractions. Be sure to get hold of a map of the different park areas such as Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and so on. Check out the popular tourist attractions like the Disney’s Boardwalk, Downtown Disney Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and Typhoon Lagoon.

The perfect getaway is one that you don’t plan to get away from. It is almost everyone’s desire to set off in the discovery of paradise-like places, with no map, and no intention of really getting anywhere. Although this may seem a little far-fetched, there are places where this is possible. And one of the best of these possibilities is the Caribbean. The Caribbean islands, or the West Indies, are an archipelago of over 7000 small islands, coves, reefs and cays enclosing the Caribbean Sea. They are known for their distinct culture which is a mixture of their origins and the remnants of colonial times, and even more so for the rich biodiversity which makes the Caribbean islands Conservation International’s Biodiversity hotspots.
A Caribbean yacht charter gives you the most convenient way of experiencing the Caribbean islands. You can float around (literally) the 7000 islands and structures, anchoring where you please, swimming and snorkelling or just lazing around on beaches or the deck. You can explore the islands’ forests and scrublands, enjoy local delicacies during the day leaving the yacht in the care of trained crew and personnel and head back to your luxury yacht for a romantic dinner under clear sky, cooked by your personal chef. It cannot get any better than this.
The Caribbean Islands form quite a sizeable archipelago and depending on the kind of time you have you could visit the large, popular islands of Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica and Puerto Rico located within the “Greater Antilles” or the smaller islands like Barbuda, Anguilla, St. Kitts, Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba and the Virgin Islands located within the Lesser Antilles. However, with a luxury chartered yacht at your disposal, geographical divisions needn’t be your concern. You can visit as many or as few you like – depending on the time you have.
However, there are certain destinations that are a must see on a Caribbean yacht charter. The Bahamas is ‘the’ place to start your travels. Start from Nassau, which is breathtakingly beautiful by day and equally entertaining at night, and move towards the Exuma Islands. Take your time as you spend hours on secluded beaches or explore coves and caves and reefs along Fowl Cay, Staniel Cay or Iguana Cay. Although Paradise Island and Exuma form the bulk of every traveller’s itinerary, with a private yacht, you can also charter towards the leave-me-alone islands like Abaco, Cat Islands, Bimini, Inagua and end your travels at Freeport, Grand Bahama; or you could just steer towards the most romantic of these islands – The Virgin Islands.
Sparsely populated, and hardly commercialised, the Virgin Islands will offer you miles and miles of sandy beaches, crystal blue waters and water sport adventures of a lifetime. The island of St. John’s in particular is known for snorkelling, diving, surfing and kayaking. Most of the beaches offer lots of seclusion and the waters are calm enough for children to dart in and out carelessly. And if you’re still not done, you could sail along and discover for yourself the other smaller islands that make up the Leeward Islands, all 120 miles of it. Each of these islands preserves intact its lush natural beauty in its waters, beaches, forests, coves, rack formations as well as their culture, which, rich enough in its origins is only enhanced by the impressions that the colonists left behind.
The Caribbean offers an extremely refreshing experience to a traveller. The islands as well as the people are a welcome change from our otherwise mundane, hectic and ‘planned’ lives. Yet, you will never feel too far from home in a chartered yacht. A Caribbean yacht charter mixes the best of both worlds, luxury and nature, for you sit to back and enjoy.

How do you find a dentist in Mexico, and plan a dental trip?
Are you thinking of going to Mexico to take advantage of the low, low prices on dental work? Are you unsure of what to do? Here is a step by step guide to help you.
First you need to get online and look for a dentist’s website. Google the words: “dentist in Mexico”, or dentist in Tijuana”, or my favorite: “Sam Dental Tijuana”. You will find a number of dental websites of dentists in Tijuana, Mexico. Tijuana is the best place to go to because it is located just across the border from San Diego, CA, which is the largest US city on the Mexican border, and there is much easier access from the USA and a major airport. Flights into San Diego are much cheaper and more frequent then to El Paso, Texas.
After finding some dentist’s websites, next compare the pricing. If they don’t list their prices right up front, beware, you may get a big surprise when you go! So skip over those websites. After you settle on a few dentists, then call them. If they can’t communicate adequately with you in English, skip them too. When you talk to the dental clinic they should be able to give you a rough estimate over the phone. If you have gone to your local dentist, you will know what you need done, and you will also find that in Mexico, the prices will be from 65% to 80% less than in the USA. If the person you talk to can’t give you an estimate, skip that clinic. Ask them if they guarantee their work, how long it takes to get the work done, and ask to give details as to how the procedures are done. The person who answers the phone is most probably not the dentist, but if the dentist has not properly trained them to answer your questions properly, then that should raise a red flag, so go on to the next one.
Make sure they offer good service. Price is not the only consideration. It is not worth it to get poor service, or no guarantee on the work, just to save a few bucks. It is important is to see how much the clinic is willing to help you plan your trip, help you with hotel accommodations and figure out transportation. These things aren’t something you can expect the dentist to pay for, but a good dental clinic will be conscientious to accommodate the patients with good service, and you will need their help if you are coming from afar.
Before you finalize your plans, ask the dentist for some referrals and for some before and after pictures. A good dentist will have plenty of patients who are excited about the good work the received, and they should be able to give you the contact information of a few of their recent patients. You can tell if the person they give you is really a patient by the way they respond to your questions, and you will be able to get a good feel for how well they were taken care off. If they aren’t ready to give you referrals, and some before and after pictures, then don’t go there.
The next stage is to plan your trip.
Time frame: The Mexican dental clinic will have helped you set a date and calculate needed time to do the work. Most work will take from 2 days, up to 8 days to complete, depending to what all you need to have done. It is good to plan one extra day, just in case of any complications. Think of your dental trip as a “dental vacation”. In the USA they drag out the dental work for weeks and even months, but in Mexico, they are used to people dedicating the time to getting the work done quickly, but it will still take the whole amount of time the dentists estimates to do a good job. Travel. The main thing is getting to San Diego. Flights to San Diego are inexpensive. For example, round trip ticket from Orlando, Florida to San Diego will run about $240. Most dental clinics in Tijuana can help you to get to the border, and will even send someone to pick you up for a small fee. However, it is easy to get to the border from the Airport via public transportation. Ask at the airport information desk, and they will tell you where to catch the city shuttle bus, MTS 992, that will take you from the airport to downtown. Give the driver of the bus $5 and buy a day pass. Tell him you want to get off at the San Diego Trolley light rail station, (American Plaza). He’ll drop you off in front of the train station, and you will get on the Blue Line to San Ysidro/Tijuana. The train will take you clear to the border at the US Customs. There you will walk into Mexico, and take a taxi for $5, or call your clinic, and they will pick you up. Once in Tijuana, the clinic can help you get around, or you can take a taxi anywhere for just a few bucks. Lodging. Your clinic can tell you where to go and help you make reservations. There are a lot of nice places in Tijuana that are secure, clean, and have reasonable rates. Costs run from $40 to $60, and there are no additional taxes added on. During your time off, when the lab work is being done, before the placing of your crowns or bridges, you will have a few days to check out the sights. Tijuana has a lot great restaurants and interesting shops for the tourists on Revolution Street. Also, there are very nice beaches in Playas, or Rosarita. There are shuttle buses in downtown that will take you there for $7. You can relax on the beach or go eat sea food.
