Jaws! Amity Island Full Ride (HD POV) Universal Studios Florida

This is a POV of the Jaws encounter at Universal Studios Florida. Jaws is a theme park attraction based upon the films of the same name. The attraction places guests aboard tour boats for what should be a leisurely tour of Amity Harbor, but instead becomes a harrowing chase between the craft and a very determined great white shark. Jaws is an expanded version of a famous scene on the long-running backlot tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, also inspired by the film, and can be found at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando. A near-duplicate version of the attraction can also be found at Universal Studios Japan near Osaka. The attraction is notable for being one of the only original Universal Studios Florida attractions still in operation, the other three being ET Adventure, Universal’s Horror Make-Up Show and Lucy: A Tribute.

Pleasure Island 1996

November 15, 1996 (and the early hours of November 16, 1996). My first recorded visit to Pleasure Island at Walt Disney World. (This probably was my very first visit to PI — it’s certainly the first with a camcorder!) Twelve years before Disney shut down the clubs, and many years before the island stopped requiring a ticket to just set foot upon it, this 10 minute video enters PI on the Disney Village Marketplace side of the Island, shows the outside of many of the clubs, shows a bit of the insides of The Adventurers Club and The Comedy Warehouse, and the New Year’s Eve (is every night) show “Out with the old, in with the new”. Keep in mind, this is video was shot after the West Side of Downtown Disney was announced, but a few years before it was built. Beyond the West End Stage was only Planet Hollywood (which is shown) and the AMC Theatres (which is not).Video by Alan S. Dalinka.
