Wonderful Destinations in the Usa – Cheap Flights

The United States is packed with cities we know from the movies and TV. How wonderful it is to be able to visit them and partake of their excellent attractions, thanks to cheap flights to the USA.

The United States has some of the best known and popular holiday and short break destinations in the world. From New York to Los Angeles, and from San Francisco to Miami, we’ve heard so much about them that we almost feel we know them. However, such apparent familiarity will not reduce the impact of actually visiting these exciting locations.

When you think of “the Big Apple” (New York), what springs to mind? The Empire State Building, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty…shopping? Yes, there are all those and more in the brash, exciting city on Manhattan Island and surrounds.

Los Angeles, a massive urban sprawl, is home to Hollywood, Disneyland, and beaches on the Pacific. It is home to many of the most famous celebrities in the world.

San Francisco has many iconic views: the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf; the Crookedest Street in the World. Almost intimate compared with its southern California neighbour Los Angeles, San Francisco holds lasting appeal.

On the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago has Soldier Field, The Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium. You can view “the Windy City” from 1,000 feet above at the John Hancock Observatory or the Sears Tower Skydeck.

USA cheap flights can serve up all these goodies to you!

Washington is the seat of US Government, with the White House, the US Capitol, the National Air and Space Museum and the Lincoln Memorial.

As New England’s largest, most important city, Boston is much older than the Union. With the history of the Boston Tea Party, Boston provides a variety of attractions giving a patriotic perspective on the country’s past, present and future.

Miami and Orlando serve Florida’s playground of beaches and man-made wonders such as Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Sea World, the Kennedy Space Center, as well as the natural Everglades and Florida Keys. No wonder it is the most popular destination from the UK.

Some Of The Best Honeymoon And Wedding Destinations

marriage is a beautiful event in your life, which you take great pains to plan. It marks the beginning of a lifetime with someone you love. A fantastic honeymoon is the perfect way to start this journey of a lifetime. Be it a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle or an invigoration action packed trip, you can be sure of finding just the right destination which will make your honeymoon vacations memorable.

Hawaii has been the most popular wedding destinations in the US. The tropical panorama, immaculate beaches and a vast choice of cuisine, and activities to cater to every kind of taste, it is not surprising that Hawaii is the top choice for a honeymoon. You can enjoy the many waterfalls and fantastic views from the various islands of Hawaii, which will be fun to explore with your spouse. But of course the most romantic thing to do with him/her would be to watch the sunset.

After Hawaii, the Niagara Falls in upstate New York figure as the next popular choice of a honeymoon destination. Many choose the setting of the Niagara, which is the second tallest and widest waterfall in the world to even exchange their wedding vows. There are guided tours on boats around the waterfall and a visit to the Casino Niagara, which is just across the Falls, would be a perfect way to end the day.

Florida is a place that can be perfect for just about anyone. There are numerous spots that you will love, whatever it is that you and your spouse want from a honeymoon. Walt Disney World in Orlando is probably the most popular of all the holiday spots of Florida, where special packages are offered to those who want a romantic retreat.

It is incorrect to think that California is just about the crowded beaches and streets of Los Angeles. Should you decide to honeymoon there, then head for the undulating slopes, the mountain peaks and the charming villages of Napa Valley. California Wine Country, with its numerous wineries, which lies to the north of San Francisco, is sure to charm you with the hospitality that is typical of this place.

Las Vegas, which has been pronounced as the entertainment capital is just the right destination for those who want their honeymoon to be full of action and fun. Aside from gambling at the many casinos here, the shopping and nightlife can be quite enjoyable. Grand Canyon is close by and is a popular tourist destination. Most of the hotels in Las Vegas have honeymoon packages that you and your spouse would find hard to resist.

The U.S has everything to offer to the honeymooner, be it the tranquil beaches of Hawaii, or the never-ending action of Las Vegas; be it the scenic beauty of the California Wine Country or the fun filled spots of Florida.

Hot Destinations for Escaping the Winter Chill

Are you looking to escape the cold winter weather? Taking a vacation might be the perfect way to do just that. Instead of choosing a destination for skiing or a location near your home, check out these hot vacation spots that should get your mind off the snow and ice back home:

Hawaii

If you want to stay in the United States, Hawaii is an excellent option to consider and many travel packages are available. Hawaii has beautiful warm weather throughout the entire year and you do not need a passport to get there. Some of the most popular destinations within Hawaii include Maui, Oahu, The Big Island, Haleakala, and Waikiki Beach. All of these can be great for everything from a family vacation to a romantic honeymoon or a party-filled spring break trip with your friends. While there, you can explore the volcanoes, enjoy the pristine beaches, and attend late-night luaus.

Bali

For a fun cultural experience in a warm climate, consider a vacation to Bali, an Indonesian island located between Java and Lombok. Bali is famous for its art, music and dance, many of which tie into the Hindu religious epics. For a unique experience, visit Bali during the Hindu New Year in the spring. They celebrate with a day of silence, where you are encouraged to stay in your hotel. The day before has many activities available such as parades all over the island. These include spectacular, brightly colored sculptures that are burned to drive away evil spirits.

The Bahamas

The islands of the Bahamas are technically not in the Caribbean, but they are not far from Florida and still have that tropical Caribbean feel. There are over 700 islands in this chain, which you can explore via boat tours. This island nation was once a part of Great Britain, and you can still see and feel the British influence there today.

St. Lucia

One of the most natural scenic locations in the Caribbean is St. Lucia. This island is known for its rainforest, complete with a zip line through the canopy and a volcano that is also a road. During July, you can attend Carnival, complete with parades, costumes, and parties. At one time, the waters around St Lucia were filled with pirates, and there are still sunken ships to explore while diving, coves with pirate themes, and historic shipping locations that you can visit to learn more about pirates in this area.

Bermuda

Like the Bahamas, Bermuda is technically not a part of the Caribbean Islands, but it is often lumped in with them because it has similarly warm, sunny weather. Located off the coast of the Carolinas, this site is a bit colder in the winter, but because of that, it is also a more affordable in the off-season. Bermuda is known for its scuba diving and snorkeling, and while there, pick up a Heritage Passport, which gives you access to all of the island chain’s cultural sites.

Mexico

Cancun and Cabo are just two of the popular vacation destinations in Mexico. Most people equate Mexico with Tijuana and other sites around the border, but locations on the Yucatan Peninsula are actually high-class resort areas with Caribbean weather. In Mexico, you can also explore Mayan ruins, and if you travel farther inland, away from the Caribbean coast or golf, you can find other cultural sites to visit as well.

Tahiti

Located in the South Pacific Ocean, Tahiti is an often-overlooked vacation destination. This French Polynesian island chain has beautiful black sand beaches, and while there, you can visit a number of different islands, including Bora Bora, Moorea, and Taha’a. While staying in Tahiti, you can choose an over-water bungalow room instead of a traditional hotel room for a unique experience. Other popular things to do while in Tahiti include snorkeling, shark feeding, touring a pearl farm, and spending the day at one of Tahiti’s world-renowned spas.

Buenos Aires

If you love the nightlife, the warm weather of Buenos Aires might be perfect for you. This tourist destination is the capital of Argentina. Here, you can see a tango show, shop at the Antique Fairs in Dorrego Square, or go to one of the many music festivals that takes place throughout the year. Of course, for the most fun tourist experience in this location, visit Buenos Aires during Carnival.

If you do not want to leave the United States, visiting one of the southern states is a great option (beside Hawaii) that you can choose for a warm and sunny vacation. Some of the most popular destinations include Orlando, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. If you have the winter blues, plan a trip to a sunny location and leave the ice, snow, and cold weather behind.

Top 9 Last Minute Travel Destinations

Florida

This state is perfect to visit all-year round. With theme parks galore in Orlando alone, there’s sure to be a place or two able to welcome last-minute travelers like you. While in Florida, you can also head off to Miami and enjoy its beaches and exciting nightlife. For more adventure, you can book a day trip to Key West and enjoy its exotic locale. In Key West, make sure you set aside a portion of your day for fishing and shopping.

New York

Another city you won’t lack for excitement is the Big Apple. But beware, native New Yorkers don’t like it when people refer to NYC as the Big Apple. Because it’s a city that never sleeps, you’ll always find something to see or do no matter what time you get there. Just be careful of pickpockets. That’s one authentic NYC experience you can certainly do without!

Paris

Lovers will always have Paris at any time of the year. Sure, it’s crowded all the time, but you don’t really notice things like that when you’re in love, do you? In Paris, you immediately know a couple of well-known attractions to visit and activities to check out. Besides the ever-famous Eiffel Tower, there’s also Versailles Palace to check out. You know as well that it’s imperative to give the street-lining cafes a try for authentic French cuisine, to walk around and just enjoy the romantic atmosphere and appreciate the works of Bohemian artists.

Nevada

Like NYC, Nevada or Las Vegas in particular is a city that comes especially alive at night. If you think gambling is the only thing to do in Vegas, think again. You can drop by at Caesar’s Palace, for instance, at certain times in the evening and you’ll be treated by a special presentation…for free.

New England Coast

If you need a last-minute destination during the fall, there’s no better place to pick than the New England Coast. Its spectacular fall foliage is famous worldwide and you can enjoy it for free just by walking around. The same beauty shall greet you whether you’re traveling to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, or some other place in the New England coast.

London

History buffs wanting to do some last minute travel should immediately head to London. There, you can visit Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, and let’s not forget London Bridge, the ultimate star of nursery rhymes. If you have extra time, check out Thames Park – this used to be the most fashionable place for nobility to see and be seen.

Hawaii

Hawaii has nice tropical weather all year round. They may have stormy bouts once in a while, but the weather channel will easily let you know if visiting the islands now would be bad timing. In Hawaii, you can enjoy luaus after frolicking in the beach.

Shanghai

Take advantage of the currently welcoming regime in China and see the secret wonders of this once-forbidden country. The language barrier could take a bit getting used to but the extremely cheap cost-of-living makes struggling with Mandarin worth every second.

California

First stop: Hollywood. Walk around Beverly Hills, buy a map to know where the stars live, walk a couple of minutes more and you can spot a famous actor or two while shopping in any of the equally famous boutiques lining the streets. A food tour won’t be amiss because Cali is a melting pot of various cultures! You’ll see a Thai restaurant right next to a fine-dining French restaurant and a fastfood joint.
