Magic Kingdom’s “Wishes” Fireworks at Bay Lake Tower by Disney World’s Contemporary Resort 2009
Bay Lake Tower (BLT) at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida. Sneak-peak preview of the newest addition to the Disney Vacation Club on July 23, 2009. BLT is the closest lodging to the Magic Kingdom. Official opening: early August, 2009. (Sorry that the audio portion doesn’t exactly match the fireworks show, but the audio speakers at BLT weren’t yet hooked up or working. So I overlayed some tracks.) Many visitors assume the giant aerial fireworks are launched closely behind Cinderella’s Castle. But when you watch the video, you will see the large aerials are fired from about a mile away from the castle. Still a spectacular show.
