Universal Studio’s “A Day in the Park with Barney” is a 15 minute show at the theme park in Orlando Florida. It’s the only place on earth where kids can meet Barney and his friends Baby Bop and BJ live every day in a sing-along, clap-along musical show. The fun takes place in a peaceful park setting with trees, park benches and flowers. While the characters dance and sing both new songs and familiar favorites – leaves fall from the sky, snowflakes flutter down, the stars come out and other magical surprises take place. It also has a “Barney’s Backyard” playground area with a chance to meet Barney in a meet and greet session before and/or after the main show in the Barney Theatre. Brendan Fraser, star of “The Mummy” movies and star of Universal Orlando’s Revenge of The Mummy — The Ride, met with theme park guests and shared a sneak peek from his new film “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.” Fraser also awarded one park guest a trip to attend the film’s world premiere in Hollywood. The film hits theaters August 1.
